In Rainbows
Radiohead is releasing a new album in 10 days. It's called In Rainbows.
That's not the important part.
The important part:
They're releasing it without a label.
They're releasing it as a DRM free digital download before the physical album goes on sale.
And they're letting you pay what you want for it.
Seriously.
Do you want it for free? You can do that. Do you want to pay the artists for their music? You can do that. The money goes straight to them, the people making the music. There are no advertisers, media-moguls, or RIAA officials involved.
Amazing.
